City: REGENERATION Conference
We invite you to a conference under LIFE Archiclima project, which will take place on June 24-25 (Wed-Thu) in Katowice, PL. It will be an opportunity to discuss about city function, decision-making and the interdependencies between residents and urban ecosustems. At the heart of the event will be questions about the path from climate vulnerability to adaptive implementations with a positive environmental balance.
For whom?
- officials and decision-makers from local authorities involved in shaping urban space,
- owners, investors and property managers,
- architects, landscape designers and designers of all industries
- professionals striving to break down silos and wanting to understand the complementarity of roles in the process of urban transformation.
What is on the agenda?
- Panel discussions with experts on urban regeneration, including: adaptation to climate change, restoring ecosystem function and increasing the socio-ecological resilience of cities;
- World Café good practice session covering topics such as: nature-based solutions, retention, nature restoration, life cycle assessment, climate vulnerability assessment;
- Networking session;
- Study visits and field workshops in the GZM Metropolis.
